A feminist parody of Helmut Newton's porn-chic hits the photographic scene

Shortly after the 20th anniversary of the death of Helmut Newton (1920-2004), the legendary German photographer who created chic porn and some of the most iconic and probably sexist images of the 20th century, German feminist photographer Hani Hape recreated several of the most openly sexual photos of Newton supplanting his female nudes with male ones, an aesthetic operation that shocks and fascinates the international photography scene these days, opening new questions more than bringing answers.

"It's not easy to find men who drop their pants," Hape, from Berlin, told the German site Monopol in an interview reported by the English newspaper The Guardian.
